Sweet Sensation Cleansing Scrub uses Amber as the mechanical exfoliating ingredient. Amber is fossilized tree resin, which has unique physical and chemical characteristics. This makes it excellent for a gentle, yet effective exfoliation. It’s density and harder structure provide balanced abrasive qualities, with a smooth and rounder shape so not to scratch and damage good skin. Wet face with warm water. Dispense a small amount into palms. Massage onto face or body in circular motion, avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly. Use 3-4 times weekly.

I am going to assume that the honey or whatever magic they put in this scrub is what helps me not get extremely irritated and not cause breakouts. It scrubs and takes off whatever it is supposed to but not a rough scrub. It also smells amazing. I am obsessed with this entire regimen I received for Christmas because it works.
